Artist Statement
The work you see on this web site includes work in a variety of media. It is a part of the journey in looking at color and light from many points of view.
In 1 John 1:5 the Word of God tells us that "God is Light." Light is made up of all colors. The natural world has limitless combinations of color and pattern that inspire us to admire the detail in God's handiwork.
The recent works on silk and cotton are combined with the written word of God to enhance both expressions for maximum inpact.
"He who has ears to hear, let them hear." Time is passing quickly and we are to be ready as we direct our attention daily to the One who created us, sustains us, and gives us eternal life.
Let each piece speak to you as if you were meeting a potential friend for the first time. I pray the art work will encourage and inspire you to both see and hear and draw closer to your Creator as you find your place in His eternal plan.
